Empowering Communities Through Language and Arts
Preserving Nepali Culture for Generations
The Nepali Language and Arts Center (NLAC) was established by Bhutanese immigrants in Cincinnati with a vision to create a home for cultural preservation, education, and community growth. Rooted in the rich traditions of Nepal and Bhutan, our center provides a welcoming space for all generations to learn, share, and celebrate their heritage.
At NLAC, we believe language and culture are powerful connectors. We offer Nepali language classes, cultural programs, and community events that not only preserve our traditions but also foster understanding among diverse communities in Cincinnati. Beyond cultural activities, NLAC is deeply committed to supporting families through educational initiatives, youth leadership development, and community outreach.
Our mission is to build a stronger, more connected community where identity and heritage are celebrated, while also preparing our youth to thrive in the broader society. By bridging the past and the future, NLAC strives to be a hub of learning, pride, and empowerment for Nepali-speaking families and the wider Cincinnati community.
